Lately this shallow tank has turned into something like a jungle with a small waterfall from the hang on back filter and lots of different house plants sending their roots down into the water.
The immersed plants creates cover and shaded areas for the fish. And they help to keep the water clean and well balanced.
Right now the tank is home for a small shoal of ember tetras, but this scape has gone through a lot of changes over the last couple of years.
In this video we show how this tank initially was scaped and how it gradually has changed several times over a period of 3 years. Hope you enjoy it!
Some of the houseplants in this setup are: Monstera Adansonii, Pothos, Peace Lily, Ficus pumila and Maranta.
And some of the aquarium plants: Hygrophila polysperma, Javamos, Alternanthera reineckii, a small Buce and some red root floaters.
